How and why

Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disorder, i.e., a condition in which the immune system mistakenly attacks the joints and surrounding tissues and gradually progresses to attack other systems and organs to the body.

There are a number of theories that point towards factors such as genetic inheritance, infectious causes and environmental factors as probable triggers. certain factors , which put as individual at a higher risk of developing RA , include smoking , and hormonal changes , such as pregnancy and breast feeding.

Symptoms

•    Morning stiffness is common. It can last up to a few hours .joint pains are usually better after rest. They are worse on movement. Fever and weight loss are also common symptoms
•    RA primarily affects the small joints of the hands and feet, wrists, ankles, elbows, knees and shoulders. The muscles, tendons, and ligaments surrounding the joints are often affected.
•    Symptoms are – symmetric joint pains, usually affecting more than 5 joints. Marked swelling with redness, pain, heat and limited mobility.
•    In a small percentage affected joints may fuse completely, leading to immobility.

Diagnosis

Medical history becomes sufficient to diagnose

Complete blood count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), rheumatoid factor, and x-ray of the joint can help confirm the diagnosis

Healing with homeopathy :-

There are good number of medicines to treat RA, Led pal is a good medicine for involvement of small joints ascending up (from foot to head). Pain worse in warmth changing position usually prescribe Pulsatilla. Pain stitching in nature in cold, dry weather better by pressure Bryonia alba comes very close. Over the more constitution medicine is must to put RA factor positiveto negative, safely and effectively.
